Get Involved
Our partnerships and grassroots engagement with the community are what make us an effective advocacy organization. The work necessitates people like YOU getting involved, whether it be by becoming more engaged on your social media, planning events in your area, writing to your legislator, donating to the cause or purchasing merch that you will wear out in the public. Thank you for considering getting involved with our work. Check out the links below for the various ways that you can become more involved in our efforts!
Volunteer

If you want to get your feet wet and hands dirty to improve the field of EMS, we are always accepting volunteer support. Volunteers are used to spread the word in their communities, distribute merchandise, build coalitions, join our operational team, and more. If you would like to get more involved in the work of our movement, or have specific skills you think would be valuable to our team, please sign up below!
Post and Tag Us on your Social Media

We'd love to hear your thoughts, your feelings and your opinions about the state of the EMS industry. Our work is incomplete if we don't incorporate the diverse voices of the field providers. We're all about a productive rant coming from a place of passion (you should hear us at our board meetings). One of the best ways to support change is to be vocal about it! Whether you're a passionate warrior for the cause, a comedian or a philosopher, we'd love to see you post your thoughts on EMS to your socials and tag us in them! Every month we repost our favorites! Please ensure you follow your company's social media policy and likewise refrain from hateful language :)
Order Merchandise

Visibility is key! Most people do not realize that EMS is not an essential service in most of the United States. The easiest way to inform our communities of this issue is tried and true. Put the message out there where they can see it! Order your lawn signs, stickers and t-shirts, coming soon!
Write to your Legislator

If we are going to enact changes to our laws to improve EMS, our legislators need to know that the issue is important to their constituents. Please consider writing a letter to your local legislator(s) about the situation in your community. Click the links below to find out more information on how to get in contact with YOUR representative and access our template for writing your own letter or email.
Donate to EMSSA

While our board is all-volunteer, there are a number of operational costs of our work that we must fund from donations and merch sales. We are a registered 501(c)6 tax-deductible advocacy organization, so please consider making a donation to support our continued efforts to improve the field of EMS for all.
